In the context of a semester project I got the task to design a zero waste furniture out of a given 125cm x 125cm plywood panel.

 

A further task was that the furniture had to be transformable. The design is derived from a fractal object. A fractal system describes an object that exists out of many smaller copies of it self. After an intense enhancement the design and the construction for the coffeetable were fixed.
